How to register

On-line Registration will open February 3rd!

  • Campers
  1. We have space for approximately 96 campers
  2. Parents MUST attend and bring their camper to the Parent/Camper Meeting (Thursday, May 14, 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm) to meet your campers Unit Leaders, provide fun camp nameask questions, pick-up Camp T-shirt, and pick-up car placard, etc.
  3. Arrive between 5:45 pm and 6:00 pm each night of camp
  4. Be a registered Girl Scout (no later than April 13)
  5. 100% complete registration for Firewheel Twilight Camp (must be 100% complete to guarantee spot - no later than April 13)

Below are some of the items you MUST complete to have your child registration:

*  Basic Information

*  Emergency Contact Information

*  Buddy Information

*  Shot Records (an image will need to be uploaded as part of registration)

*  Form of on-line payment

To increase your child's chance for placement, you can volunteer yourself or find another adult(s) who will volunteer to take training and serve on the Twilight Camp staff for the week. Each adult working the entire camp session may list up to six (6) campers with her or his Adult Volunteer Staff Application. Volunteers will not necessarily be placed in a unit with the children they have registered. See registration information for adults in the adult registration section.

Individual girls who register for Twilight Camp without an Adult Volunteer, or submit incomplete forms, will be placed on a waiting list and placed in a camp unit if enough adult volunteers are available to meet Girl Scout adult-to-girl safety ratios.

If placement in camp is not possible, the total camp fee will be refunded. All children placed in the camp will be assigned to age-appropriate units under the supervision of adult volunteers.

If you choose to not attend camp or do not turn in completed registration by the deadline (April 13th) and ask for a refund, a refund will be mailed to your address minus a $10 fee for items already purchased for your camper (ie; t-shirt and camp supplies). No refunds will be given after the deadline.

Buddies

Two girls (same grade) who register for the same camp session may request placement in the same unit. In order to ensure that girls will be placed together they must each request to be placed as buddies on their on-line Twilight Camp Registration Form. If both girls do not request each other, there is no guarantee they will be placed together.  Learning to connect to others and make new friends is part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience; for this reason, entire Girl Scout Troops may not be placed together.

Cost

$70 per Girl Scout* Note:  Girls who are not current members will also need to register as a Girl Scout and pay a Girl Membership fee.

$30 per Firefly* Note: Fireflies (Tagalongs) are campers from 3 years old (MUST be potty trained) to Kindergarten that are children of Firewheel Twilight Camp Volunteers only.

$30 per Boy Camper* Note: Boy campers are children of Firewheel Twilight Camp Volunteers ONLY.
